The brisket is awesome. The whole experience was amazing. This place is off the beaten path, but absolutely worth it. They said they have been slinging Q there the same way for 65 years. You can taste it.

It is all about the slow-smoked brisket perfection here. If you’re looking for one of the best smoked brisket sandwiches you’ve ever had in your life, and I mean that, then this is the place. If you are looking for modern atmosphere, thematic decorations and a bunch of unnecessary side Items you are not going to find it here. it has been the same recipe and the same My entire life and it is always excellent. They do have homemade cobbler and chips. I’ve never ordered any sides here so I do not know if they have any. I come for that amazing smoked brisket sandwich on white bread with their homemade barbecue sauce and Tabasco on it. This is some of the most tender flavorful smoked brisket anywhere in the world. 💯

65 years never tasted so good! If you are a fan of BBQ you owe it to yourself to call on this fine establishment. I'd heard that Pat Gee's was good, and I'd passed it a few times over the years, but it was always during the week. My family and I were on our way to Chapel Hill mid-Friday morning and saw that they'd be open for lunch and decided to stop by. As soon as we got out of the car and smelled the smoke, our hopes rose with the promise of some good Cue. As we entered we met the purveyors of our fantastical and festoonable feast. With it's down home, humble atmosphere, the guys were happy to talk about their offerings. We had the full chicken, 1/2 lb of pork ribs, 2 chopped beef and 1 hot link sandwiches, and 2 peach cobblers. They packed it to go for us, Had it been cooler outside it would have been more comfortable to eat there and soak in the fragrant aroma of meat and smoke (The building has natural AC). They gave us a sample from our chicken as they chopped it up for us. Wow! Perfectly cooked and not dried out. Here's the thing. Always extraordinary. This is likely the best BBQ place in Texas. I know it hasn't won from all the magazines and I hope it never does so it doesn't become over crowded. All the meat is incredible, the smell, the location, the building it's all what bbq should be. The people are nice and helpful. If you ever have a chance to visit you should.

First time here after I was told by my Realtor Angie that I had to stop by this East Texas famous "hole in the wall" and I loved it. Great smoked meats, I had the pork ribs and they were dipped in sauce and fell off the bone delicious 😋 looking forward my next visit 👍
